Electronic devices

Hand luggage

We remind you that at the security checks, electronic devices that you carry as hand luggage must be placed in the security trays separately, without their sleeves. As a rule of thumb, passengers are allowed to carry a spare battery in addition to the one included in the device.

On board

We inform you that radio receiving and transmitting devices, including satellite phones, radio receivers and transmitters, portable radios (walkie-talkies), portable televisions, DIY radio receivers and transmitters, remote control devices or toys, and wireless microphones are not allowed on board.

Lithium batteries can ignite if they are short-circuited, damaged, poorly designed, or improperly assembled. Therefore, they are forbidden on board aircrafts, as well as any damaged, defective or recalled devices.

In order to avoid potential damages and their consequences, properly protect or pack any device you include in your checked baggage. Likewise, if you choose to carry them in your hand luggage, handle them with care.
